Moov ("we", "us") helps renters and landlords discover each other. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Replace placeholder contact details before App Store submission.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, role, profile photos, and preferences you provide during onboarding.
- Listings and messages you create in the app.
- Usage data: device type, app interactions, and crash logs (via our hosting and error reporting tools).
- Photos and documents you upload for listings or verification.
How we use information
- Provide matching, chat, and listing features.
- Keep the community safe (reports, blocks, moderation).
- Improve the product and fix bugs.
- Send service-related emails (e.g. password reset).
Sharing
We use service providers (e.g. Supabase for database/auth/storage, cloud hosting). We do not sell your personal information. Other users see only what you choose to show on your profile, listings, or in chats with matches.
Retention & deletion
You may delete your account in Profile → Delete account. We remove your auth record and associated profile data subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Depending on your region (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Contact: privacy@roommatch.app (update before launch).
Children
Moov is not intended for users under 18.
